On your appointment day you can park in the multi-storey carpark on the Northern Beaches Hospital campus. There are also a number of buses that run to the hospital. More information is available from the Northern Beaches Hospital website.

What to Bring

Please bring any relevant medical documentation with you for your appointment. This includes:

• GP referral
• Hospital discharge summary
• Medication list
• Any imaging or blood tests that you have had
• Medicare card / Healthcare Card / DVA Card

Your Consultation

Expect your initial consultation to last for about 15 minutes. Follow up consultations are often faster. Dr Bender always aims to run on time, however emergencies can occur. You can help by arriving about 10 minutes early to fill in any initial paperwork prior to your appointment.

Feel free to bring a friend or family member for support if you wish. As the patient, you can choose who you have in the room for any conversations and examinations.
